San Antonio, TX – Fiesta’s ever-popular annual event, the Miss Fiesta San Antonio Scholarship Fashion Show & Dinner, is taking the stage on Wednesday, March 26th. This year’s runway fashion will feature the recently crowned 2008 Miss Fiesta and her Royal Court alongside various other San Antonio queens and Fiesta royalty.

As one of the organization’s largest fundraising events, the Miss Fiesta San Antonio Scholarship Fashion Show & Dinner will help to raise funds for educational scholarships. With the evening’s “Las Vegas” theme, attendees will be treated to a stylish evening filled with the latest in Fiesta fashions from evening wear for Fiesta’s formal events to casual clothing for parade watching, and of course, plenty of hats for the “Ladies Hat Luncheon.” Women’s fashions will be provided by Julian Gold and men’s apparel is provided by Harold’s.

The event is open to the public and will begin with a silent auction and cocktails at 6:30 p.m. Dinner and the evening’s highlight – the fashion show – will commence at 7:45 p.m. Tickets are $60.00 per person or $600.00 per table and can be purchased by contacting Mary Begia, Fashion Show Chairman and Miss Fiesta Scholarship Organization President, at (210) 863-8324. All media with appropriate identification will be admitted. For television coverage, the fashion show will begin at 8:15 p.m. and will end at approximately 9:15 p.m. Mary Begia will be available for interviews prior to or following the pageant.
